                                         "Molasses Panty Town" new musical play in developlment

 "Molasses Panty Town" is a witty, historical fiction, new musical bases on Boston’s Molasses disaster of 1919. A poorly built molasses tank, in Boston’s Italian North End bursts, spilling over two million gallons of molasses killing and injuring many. World War I, was raging and terrorism reigns free throughout Boston and the world. Spanning from 1915 to 1919, we see working class Anna, our protagonist, struggling to raise her two children by getting a job in a factory making under wear for the solders. Molasses Panty Town is a musical with historical substance, yet fun for all ages.

Book and lyric have been written by Francine Pellegrino.
